This is one of the pictures that got us the comments that maybe Cooper was perhaps not just a “pet quality” dog. Maybe we’d like to show him? we were asked.
Kind of threw us for a loop. We thought we’d gotten a pet. A show dog meant all kinds of new activities: learning to not butcher his grooming, keeping him intact (un-neutered) longer than the vet recommended, maybe traveling to dog shows.
But then Tammy said she’d show him, throw in a grooming session, and keep him for a few days to get “His Wildness” under a bit of control. We couldn’t turn that down…
